Glenn's personal training success story
Glenn Galvin started his journey weighing in at 104kg. He had joined the gym 10 months prior and was exercising by himself but always felt tired and lazy with no energy and every afternoon he would have to have a nap. One of the key factors that prompted Glenn to consider personal training was that he wasn’t losing the weight he wanted to and felt he needed that extra push to get results.
Glenn ate takeaway way too much, sometimes 3 times a day and brekkie was always McDonalds. He didn’t realize how eating junk food and not knowing how to exercise correctly was not only doing damage to Glenn’s body and health but was keeping his weight on and going up.
Glenn now weighs in at a healthy 84kg he has heaps more energy is exercising everyday and has stopped eating takeaway. Glenn walks 10km 3 times a week and rides his new bike every day, his last ride was an awesome 70km! One of his goals for next year is to run the ½ marathon at the Gold Coast Airport Marathon.

Glenn says:
“The New Member Experience has added great variety to his training and the best way to improve is to have personal training, that’s how I got my best results. I have enjoyed coming to Fitness Matters, meeting people and seeing and feeling the changes to my body.”
Glenn’s favourite quote now is:
“Happy Days.”
Glenn has now made exercise part of his lifestyle. He loves the social aspect of Fitness Matters and exercises everyday (with a rest day on Sunday). Glenn is now looking forward to training with his son who has joined Fitness Matters and he is looking forward to losing another 10kg.
The best way to improve is to have personal training.
